Mike was always an inspiration to be with and listen to. He was full of wisdom, knowledge and the love of Jesus. 

That was especially evident to me during my time as a trustee of Torch.

Mike and Edith played a key part in helping us prepare for our trustee meetings.

Some travelled long distances and we would arrive the day before and go to Mike and Edith's home. What a lovely welcome we received and fantastic hospitality - showing their love and care. It was great to relax and enjoy a superb meal prepared by Edith. Then we chatted and prayed together. This was such a significant time of fellowship and reflection before our meetings, and no doubt really helped us discern the will and mind of Christ.

l thank God for Mike, and pray for Edith and the family.
