Tribute to Michael Townsend, 1947 - 2023

Mike welcomed me to the braille community when I started at the ClearVision Library, for which I’ll always be grateful, and he unfailingly had a cheerful and encouraging word to say whenever we met. It’s clear that his charisma and enthusiasm for life had a huge impact on all who knew him, and that his legacy will be a considerable one. Condolences and best wishes to Edith and the rest of the family, and his friends and colleagues at Torch, from all at ClearVision.
